- ➤ On Saturday nearly 100 residents attended a meeting about a proposed 24 MW data center in downtown that would donate heat to the local heating system, and City Council will vote on rezoning the parking lot + reviewing the plan on Feb. 23. Lansing City Pulse

- ➤ Capital Hippie, a downtown tie-dye shop run by Laura Castle for nearly four years, has become a vibrant local spot as downtown evolves with plans for a skyscraper, new housing and City Hall changes.
