- ➤ Many mid-Michigan schools are enjoying spring break this week, and families have several local options to consider. Lansing residents can tour the Michigan State Capitol free of charge—available weekdays from 9:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m.—or visit nearby spots such as Abrams Planetarium, Impression 5 Science Center, Potter Park Zoo, Edru Skate in Holt and the R.E. - ➤ Fretail Store will close Monday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., giving neighbors a few more chances to get needed items before it shuts its doors. - ➤ Michigan's Retail Sales Index fell in February when the score dropped to 41.5 from 62.2, the Michigan Retailers Association said. MRA CEO William Hallan warned the drop shows retailers are feeling economic uncertainty from tariff threats with Canada, Mexico, China and Europe. Stacks 92.1
