EDUCATION NEWS

  • Victoria Hill, a fourth-grade teacher at Superior Central School, was honored with a $2,000 check from the Michigan Lottery — the state’s Excellence in Education award recognizing her work with students.  FOX 47
  • The Lansing school board announced yesterday that it will not launch a national search for a new superintendent but will instead begin talks with interim Superintendent Jessica Benavides (a longtime district leader) for a full-time role. The board plans to share her vision during a public meeting scheduled for April.  Lansing State Journal
