- ➤ MDARD confirmed spotted lanternflies in Jackson, Lenawee, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland and Wayne counties last year and warned they will likely spread along highways and shipping routes this summer, risking damage to grapevines and native trees. WJIM AM

- ➤ A new report from Compare the Market using 2023 data finds that heart and vascular diseases, cancer, and accidents are Michigan’s top causes of death with higher rates than the national average. - ➤ MSU hockey’s season ended on Saturday, March 28 when a 4-3 overtime loss to Wisconsin came after Ben Dexheimer scored 24 seconds into overtime — a goal that sent the Badgers to the Frozen Four.
