- ➤ More than 9,000 runners, walkers, and rollers are set to take part in the Izzo Run/Walk/Roll event on Sunday, Apr. 26 at Michigan State University’s campus. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Two Lansing restaurants, Flap Jack Shack and Jersey Giant, were damaged Monday morning when a kitchen fire near Frandor spread quickly before firefighters contained it; no injuries were reported and investigations continue to determine the cause. WJIM AM
- ➤ Early Monday morning, a fire in the kitchen of Flap Jack Shack at 3000 E. Grand River Ave near Frandor Shopping Center forced the breakfast spot and adjacent Jersey Giant Subs to close — a condemnation notice and fire marshal order barred entry — with no reported injuries. Lansing State Journal
