- ➤ An email to interim president John Engler warned that several ongoing sexual harassment investigations involving nationally known MSU professors were underway—one case involved dean William Strampel while the other two remain unnamed. MSU has redacted the identities from records released to the media amid appeals to reveal more details. The State News

- ➤ Michigan stargazers face cloudy skies and rain as the Eta Aquarids meteor shower peaks today and may show 10 to 30 meteors per hour in most parts—residents are encouraged to visit dark sky parks for better chances of viewing. Lansing State Journal

- ➤ The Michigan State Police honored 57 fallen troopers on Monday afternoon in Lansing during an annual memorial service that displayed each trooper’s picture, name, birth date, and death date—reminding the community of their sacrifice. - ➤ Voters in Eaton County and several Lansing-area school districts will cast ballots today on proposals including a 2-mill tax increase for law enforcement + school bond and millage measures to fund infrastructure upgrades.
