- ➤ Habitat for Humanity Capital Region is hosting Women Build Week in Lansing this week — about 100 volunteers are working on projects with local groups to provide housing for adults with disabilities. The organization is also holding a ReStore Sidewalk Sale in Lansing on Saturday, June 7 — clearing out merchandise from three large warehouses. Stacks 92.1
- ➤ Michigan resident Ella Bennett believes her missing cat Buddy, lost since 2022, is the cat shown by Lenawee Humane Society in a recent social media post where the animal was groomed and renamed Snack Wrap—she now hopes to reunite with him. WJIM AM
- ➤ AmeriCorps cuts have ended many volunteer jobs, hurting groups like the Women's Center of Greater Lansing and Edgewood Village Housing that offer legal help and youth programs.
