  • On Monday, May 18, storms swept Michigan’s southern lower peninsula with wind gusts reaching 90 mph in Woodbury, causing trees to fall and leaving nearly 29,000 customers without power.   • Michigan residents planning to cross into Canada this Memorial Day weekend may face long delays at Detroit, Port Huron, and Sault Ste. Marie crossings, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Travelers should have proper documents ready and check wait times online before leaving.  Lansing State Journal
  • Regular CATA riders must adjust their plans on Monday, May 25, when most services will not run in observance of Memorial Day while the Paratransit Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services resume standard routes Tuesday, May 26 + same-day rides cannot be scheduled.  Stacks 92.1
