- ➤ Social districts that allow people to walk around and drink outdoors have been set up in the Lansing area, with three in Lansing and others in nearby communities like St. Johns, Charlotte, Leslie and Williamston. The districts started after Gov. Whitmer signed a law on July 1, 2020, and they let approved businesses serve alcohol during set hours — rules that help keep social gatherings safe. - ➤ General Motors will invest four billion dollars in three U.S. plants and shift production of the Chevrolet Blazer and Equinox back to the United States.
