- ➤ Preparations for the Eaton County Fair were underway on Sunday despite pouring rain. The fair, celebrating 170 years in Eaton County, will begin today in Charlotte with new attractions such as a glass blower and a comedian/farmer/magician, with admission costing $7 for everyone 6 years and older (children under 6 attend free). - ➤ High Caliber Karting and Entertainment in Okemos offers sensory friendly hours every first Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. — the venue creates an inclusive space by turning on lights and turning off music while lending kits for sensory friendly events. FOX 47

- ➤ ScrapFest will return to Old Town on July 11th and 12th as artists turn scrap metal into creative sculptures and urban art; the festival (in its 15th year) will also offer eco-friendly booths, live music, a fashion show, food, and kid activities. - ➤ Drivers in Greater Lansing face roadway changes beginning today as MDOT closes the ramp from westbound I-96 to M-99 for resurfacing until Aug. 1—traffic is diverted via the Lansing Road exit—and begins repaving M-100 and lane maintenance on M-43 that will cause closures until Aug. 15. - ➤ Michigan lawmakers passed the Taylor Swift Bills to fine those behind ticket-snatching bots up to $5,000 per stolen seat—aiming to protect fans after a 2022 crisis when bots grabbed tickets ahead of real buyers. The bills now head to the State Senate for consideration. WJIM AM
