- ➤ Photos from Friday, June 20 show Michigan State University’s Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton, where visitors viewed the conservatory’s tropical plants and arid dome exhibits. Guests also explored the trails and the Sky Walk canopy bridge linking different garden sections. Lansing State Journal
- ➤ Capital City Comic Con returns this weekend in Lansing and will run Friday from 3pm to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm—offering panels, tabletop games, eSports tournaments, a cosplay contest and a kids zone with free admission for children 13 and under while featuring guests such as Garrett Wang, Barry Lowing and Tara Sands. - ➤ Triple-A Michigan says the state average gas price is now $3.15 this week, which is 11¢ lower than last week—5¢ lower than last month and 43¢ less than last year. - ➤ Michigan Avenue Rehabilitation Project in Lansing is in its fifth phase, with crews working between Lathrop Street and Holmes Street and causing detours and lower foot traffic for local businesses (for example, Jerusalem Bakery reports fewer visitors) as UM Health Sparrow Hospital provides alternate routes. Officials say phase six will begin in September and the entire project will be finished in October. FOX 47

- ➤ Voting for the Greater Lansing boys high school coach of the year is open until July 11.
