- ➤ An Empty the Shelters National Adoption Event is underway at the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter on Buhl Street in Mason through July 19. The BISSELL Pet Foundation is hosting the event—offering adoptions at reduced fees, typically $50 or less—with shelter hours from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and adoptions accepted until 4:30 p.m. with no intakes after 4:45 p.m. Stacks 92.1
