- ➤ Michigan residents received texts that look like friendly messages from USPS with the message 'Have a Wonderful Day' but are a smishing scam designed to steal banking information or install malware — state officials warn people to delete the messages and not to click any links. WJIM AM
- ➤ On July 12, Bath Township officers responded to reports of a suspect breaking into yards and vehicles and, after he held a knife to a resident’s throat, shot and tased him—he was later arrested in stable condition at a local hospital while victims were treated and both officers were placed on paid administrative leave as the Michigan State Police investigate.
