- ➤ Two brothers walked in Lansing Tuesday to raise awareness for foster care kids (they plan to walk 10 miles in every state and have received strong community support). The former foster kids recorded a podcast in Jackson on Sunday and will continue their journey during the summer. WLNS

CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Lansing Police arrested two juvenile suspects—and are searching for a third—after a 26-year-old man was shot during a robbery on Saturday; he was taken to a nearby hospital and is now in stable condition. WLNS
- ➤ A 36-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Lansing when officers responded to a shooting on the 3800 block of Wilson Ave — no arrests have been made and authorities do not believe the incident was random. WLNS

- ➤ Michigan State Police announced four new K-9 teams and three replacement teams after their dogs graduated from a 14-week Basic Canine School on Friday. The units—bringing the total to 42 teams with 61 dogs—handled over 6,100 service requests last year. WLNS
