- ➤ Michigan State’s Board of Trustees approved an Advisory Committee for Responsible Investing on Dec. 16 to review requests by students, staff and community members to adjust ethical investment practices on campus. - ➤ Gov. Whitmer has named literacy as her top priority in her final year in office. She will detail proposals to improve funding for libraries, support for families, and educator training in her upcoming State of the State speech following remarks at the literacy summit on Dec. 15.
