- ➤ A ticket bought in Arkansas won Wednesday, Dec. 24 the $1.817B Powerball jackpot from the Michigan Lottery + eight Match 5 tickets, including one sold in Michigan, won $1 million; ticket sales close at 9:45 p.m. with the next drawing set for Saturday, Dec. 27 at 10:59 p.m. Lansing State Journal
- ➤ The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development launched the state-funded Last Food Mile Grant to award up to $100,000 per project for local farmers and food businesses to transport Michigan-grown food to schools, hospitals and markets.
