- ➤ Lansing officials enforced new public camping rules that led to citations for homeless residents such as Crystal White near Maguire Park — a move meant to heighten public safety. He said discussions with city officials revealed that concerns over property occupancy and the retirement of the staff member who compiled the list have contributed to the delay, and he plans to update his story daily until it is received.
