- ➤ Michigan State’s hockey team tried to tie the game late on Saturday when freshman Porter Martone scored with 39.8 seconds left, but Wisconsin scored in overtime to win the match. The Badgers swept the series — taking five of six points and ending the Spartans’ nine-game win streak. Lansing State Journal
- ➤ On Friday night, MSU hockey lost 5-4 to No. 7 Wisconsin after an early 2-0 lead fell apart when the Badgers scored four second-period goals—dropping the Spartans to 9-2-0 overall and 4-1-0 in conference play. The State News
- ➤ Traverse Moore ran for 320 yards and scored four touchdowns to help the DeWitt Panthers beat Warren De La Salle 41-20 in the Division 3 state semifinal at Grand Blanc High School on Nov. 22.
